Kıvanç started dancing unwillingly at the age of 5 in a Turkish wedding. After that event he created fear for dancing till 2009 when he met Lindy Hop. A year immediately after, he started teaching lindy hop to his friends at Herrang in 2010, during the class breaks, to show off.
